As a public library, our primary mission is to create a love of reading.
When you place a book in a child’s hand, you change their life forever.
That is why we are partnering with other local libraries and the Greater Susquehanna Valley United Way to enroll our little ones in Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library.
For the cost of one hardback book ($25), a child receives 12 books (one a month) for free, delivered directly to their home. 12 books – that’s a little over $2 per book. Extremely cost effective and easy for the family. No driving to the library, no fines, and no fees.
